Religion

Egypt is a muslim country with about 90% of its population that are Muslims, with the next largest religious group being Christian Orthodox. Generally, the Egyptian population is homogeneous and accepting of any differences in religions and ethnicities.

Climate

Egypt essentially has a hot climate; it is generally dry all over the country except on the northern Mediterranean coast where the weather is more humid during the summer months. In winter months, the weather is generally mild and pleasant, and rainfall is expected along the coasts.
